Director of
Memberships
The role of
the Director of Memberships is form a committee to keep track of the society
members, types and renewal date. Develop
a plan for membership drives in conjunction with executive. Ensure that all members receive their
membership cards and the letter explaining the membership benefits (through
his/her committee). Make sure all
members are receiving their membership benefits. Develop a database to track all members and
their benefits.
The job of the Director of Memberships is to:

Form
a committee to assist in membership mailings, drives and database entering.
·
Keep
in close contact with your committee to ensure all their activities are
completed in a timely manner.
·
Prepare
budgets for cost of memberships and bring it to the board/executive
·
Help
draft a letter explaining the North East SPCA’s work and the benefits of being
a member.
·
Ensure
that you receive the Newsletter from the Newsletter Editor, on time, to send it
to the membership committee for printing, mailing and e-mailing.
·
Maintain
contact with treasurer to ensure you are receiving all membership related
mailings.
·
Prepare
a report for monthly board meeting.
·
Maintain
the membership list
·
To
keep records of full membership and keep them informed of events, etc. within
the group/organization
